On October 16  CSX railroad company held a four hour class at the Bethel Fire Department. 22 members from the Bethel and Stokes fire departments attended the four hour class presented by Instructors Nelson High and Wallace Oneal. The class was designed for all emergency responders incuding: fire departments,emergency medical services,law enforcement,emergency management agencies,military and homeland security.The instructors streesed the importance of recognizing different kinds of railroad equipment and preparing for potential train incidents.
